The New Vesper project appears on Shabolovka

The Group of companies Vesper plans to invest 45 billion rubles in the redevelopment of an industrial zone with total area of about 5 hectares, located at Shabolovka Street, 31 (Donskoy District, South Administrative District). The Chairman of Moskomstroyinvest Anastasia Pyatova told this.

The buildings of the former JSC GPZ-2 (Second State Bearing Plant) are located on this site, since the 2000s, most of the premises have been rented out. The production was completely transferred to Tver in 2016. The total area of the current building is 110,000 square meters.

As a part of the redevelopment project, within five years, Vesper plans to create a residential area with educational institutions, social infrastructure, underground parking, sports facilities and an open landscaped area. The development parameters have not been approved yet: in accordance with the established procedure, the Urban Planning and Land Commission of the city of Moscow must submit them for consideration. The company will start working on the design of the facility, and in a couple of years, the existing buildings will continue to function as a business center.

“The creation of balanced projects on the territory of the former industrial zones is one of the priorities of the city’s development. A comfortable living space with important social infrastructure facilities and a healthy microclimate should be formed in the renovated territories,” commented Anastasia Pyatova.
